Evergreen bush of oval glossy leaves and shell-pink cup-shaped nodding blooms, which are followed by red aromatic berries that taste of strawberries. Queen Victoria had jam made from them and the spicy leaves can be used for tea. The berries are used to make the traditional liquer Murtado. Grows 4-6ft.
